The inauguration has been the occasion for launching of the restored imperial palace of Huafangzhai in the historic Beihai Park of Peking

It is one of the popular weekly of Peking in Chinese language. The issue of July 2002 has devoted the full pages 38 and 39 to the story of the friendship between Adriano Màdaro and the famous Chinese painter Wang Daguan titling " Doctor Adriano Màdaro and the painter Wang Daguan"

In the August 30st edition the whole Culture page was dedicated to the journalist and sinologist Adriano Màdaro explaining his editorial project with a title of consacration for his official role of China Historian: "Italian writes the History of China".

"China Today", monthly published in Chinese, English, German, French, Spanish and Arabian began its editions in 1951 with the name of "China Reconstructs".
